On October 21st, 2010 the "Energietag Jade-Weser" have taken place at the Jade University in Wilhelmshaven for the 4th time. More then 100 participants from administration, industry, science and interested public informed themselves about latest developments in energy efficiency with lectures and in 3 workshops. Results of the workshops have been presented at the end of the day.

During the workshops the participants discussed about the "most efficient use of energy in small and medium sized companies" (Workshop 1), "new ways for more efficiency: virtual power plants & co" (Workshop 2) and about  "energy efficiency in municipalities - best practice examples" (Workshop 3).

The North Sea Sustainable Energy Planning project was presented to public in the course of the exhibition during the event. Many discussions with participants opened the possibility to introduce a broader public into the project.
